Who have we partnered with in Elk Point to bring FREE Wi-Fi?

Pioneer Circle Elk Point Seniors Centre

For over half a century, the Pioneer Circle Elk Point has been the heart of community activity, offering social, recreational, cultural, and community programs for all ages. Operating for the last 33 years out of their current facility, they host everything from weekly card games, floor curling, and exercise classes to popular bingos drawing people from across the region. They also host music jamborees and provide a valuable rental space for social gatherings, business meetings, and community events. Now, thanks to the free internet, they’re enhancing their offerings even further.

Pioneer Circle shares with us, “MCSnet’s donation of internet services throughout our facility has truly enhanced our organization’s ability to serve our community and has created opportunities to broaden services to our many users. Everyone from business groups to memorial services can utilize internet access to enhance their programs. Many of our seniors are learning how the internet can open opportunities for their use. We are looking at education sessions to show how internet use through many devices can improve quality of life. In short, MCSnet has helped our organization create connections and opportunities for our community users.”

The Elk Point and District Curling Society

Get ready to slide into connection! This hub of activity isn’t just about perfect draws and exciting bonspiels. As they shared with us, their mission, purpose, and passion are clear: “Our purpose is to offer people of any age, gender or skill level the opportunity to participate in a sport that helps to meet our needs for social, physical and mental activity. We believe this is important given we live in an area with long, cold winters that can be isolating.” Now, with the FREE MCSnet Wi-Fi Hotspot, you can easily share your winning shots, check league standings, or even stream the Oilers game in the lounge after a great match.
