Yes. Some alarm or monitoring systems require a Static IP address. MCSnet offers Static IP addresses for $19.95 + tax/month.
MCSnet no longer provides new email addresses but we will support your existing MCSnet email address while you are a customer.
The easiest way to use your existing MCSnet email address on an Email Provider, such as Gmail or Outlook, is to use our Email Forwarding feature in My Account.
Log into your MCSnet My Account on desktop or on the app. Under the “Account” heading on the side menu, you will see a list of emails associated with your account. Click on the blue arrow and follow the instructions to forward your email to another address that you use, such as a Gmail or Hotmail account. If there is an old email address associated with your account that you don’t use any more, you can choose to delete it.
You can find further information on our Email page (link).
Phishing scams are electronic communications, such as emails or websites, designed to appear as if they originate from a trustworthy entity. Their objective is to deceive you into divulging sensitive personal data, including usernames, passwords, and banking or credit card details, often through a “call to action.”
For more information on Phishing Scams and how to report them, please visit our Fraud Prevention Resources Page (link).
You can ask your friends or family to mention your name when they sign up for MCSnet services or you can share your very own Referral Code on your MCSnet My Account. Once you are in My Account, click on “Account”. Your referral code is there to copy and share. Once your friend or family is installed, you will receive $50 credit on your account and so will your friend. We have more information on our Referral Page (link).
