Eligibility
This contest is open to legal residents of Alberta who are registered with 4-H Alberta as a member and who has a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years of age, at the time of entry, to complete each submission. Employees of Lemalu Holdings Ltd. O/A MCSnet and 4-H Alberta, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible.
Entry Period
Submissions will be accepted from December 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025. Winners will be announced on or before April 11, 2025.
How to Enter
No purchase necessary. Email your video or photo entry to promotions@mcsnet.ca. Limit one entry per person per day. Multiple entries encouraged to follow the progression of each 4-H Alberta project. Additional entries accepted on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok will be considered if posted publicly and using the hashtag #4HABContest and tagging both MCSnet and 4-H Alberta.
Prizes
Each Junior, Intermediate, and Senior category will be awarded with a grand prize, runner up and consolation prize for entering at mcsnet.ca/4habcontest.
- Grand Prize: $500.00
- Runner Up: $100.00
Selection of Winner
The eligible entries will be sorted and categorized by Junior, Intermediate and Senior age groups. One (1) grand prize and one (1) runner up winners from each age category will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the end date. The winners will be notified via phone and email and must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize. Failure to respond in the stipulated time will result in forfeiture of the prize, and a new winner will be selected.
Release
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Lemalu Holdings Ltd. O/A MCSnet and 4-H Alberta and its affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or relating to such entrant’s participation in the contest.
General Conditions
Lemalu Holdings Ltd. O/A MCSnet and 4-H Alberta reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud or any other factor impairs the integrity of the contest as determined by Lemalu Holdings Ltd. O/A MCSnet and 4-H Alberta in its sole discretion.
Personal Information
Personal information collected from entrants will be used by Lemalu Holdings Ltd. O/A MCSnet and 4-H Alberta for the purpose of administering and showcasing the contest and, if consent is given at the time of entry, to provide the entrants with marketing information from Lemalu Holdings Ltd. O/A MCSnet and 4-H Alberta. Entrants can opt-out at any time. Video and Photo submissions will be utilized in digital advertising and promotional materials.
Governing Law
This contest is governed by the laws of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
