We are serving you the best internet and growing with you.
Dependable internet is not a luxury anymore. It is family movie night streaming without the spinning wheel, the kids gaming with friends two provinces over, a video call to a child working away, and a rural business reaching customers anywhere. It is a full house of phones, TVs, laptops, and cameras all running at once without anyone shouting to get off the internet.
MCSnet is built to carry all of it. Check what reaches your address and we will show you the speeds available where you live, then help you match them to how your household actually uses the internet.
The County of St. Paul calls itself “the Un-City Experience,” and that fits: about 6,300 people, roughly 1,200 farms, two towns, a summer village, and a string of hamlets and lakes across the heart of Alberta’s Lakeland. It is also where MCSnet started in 1995 and where our head office still stands, at 4810 50th Ave in St. Paul.
That matters for your internet. The people who design, build, and repair this network live inside the coverage area. When a storm rolls through the county, our crews are already here.

Every community below is covered by the MCSnet network. The linked guides go deeper on what is available where you live:
Also served: St. Edouard, St. Brides, St. Vincent, Lac Bellevue, Lottie Lake, Heinsburg, Lindbergh, Lafond, Riverview.
Part of the wider MCSnet rural Alberta network.
The county runs four campgrounds of its own, at Floatingstone Lake, Lac Bellevue, Stoney Lake, and Westcove on Vincent Lake, and the cabins around those lakes are part of our coverage map too. Vincent Lake alone touches three of our communities: Mallaig’s provincial recreation area sits on its shore, the Summer Village of Horseshoe Bay occupies its north side, and the hamlet of St. Vincent carries its name. Whether you are at the lake for a season or year-round, streaming and working from the cabin is exactly the kind of connection we build for.
MCSnet built fiber to the home in Mallaig back in 2019, with our own money and no grants. Now our federally supported expansion is extending fiber to thousands more rural households across the region, and the county’s lake communities are on the list: Lottie Lake, Lower Mann Lake, Upper Mann Lake, Horseshoe Bay, and Vincent Lake are all named in the current build, with construction scheduled to complete by March 2027. Follow the fiber projects here.
Not on the fiber list? GigAir already delivers fiber-class wireless speeds in St. Paul, Elk Point, and Ashmont, and our tower network covers the rest of the county today.
“Great internet service provided for rural users. We have been with MCSnet for over a decade and have absolutely no reason to change.
