What a Good Connection Actually Gets You

Dependable internet is not a luxury anymore. It is family movie night streaming without the spinning wheel, the kids gaming with friends two provinces over, a video call to a child working away, and a rural business reaching customers anywhere. It is a full house of phones, TVs, laptops, and cameras all running at once without anyone shouting to get off the internet.

MCSnet is built to carry all of it. Check what reaches your address and we will show you the speeds available where you live, then help you match them to how your household actually uses the internet.

Lucky Ducks and Lucky Tickets

Ardmore sits about 18 kilometres east of Bonnyville on Highway 28, a hamlet of roughly 317 people with an outsized reputation. Every year for more than 35 years, the Ardmore Duck Race has released around 2,000 numbered rubber ducks onto the Beaver River to raise money for school programs through the Parent Advisory Council. One duck released in 2017 turned up on the shores of the Barents Sea in Russia. In August 2015, a $50 million LOTTO MAX ticket was sold right in town at the M&M Mini Mart.

Just outside the hamlet, Cowboy Town offers horse-drawn Victorian carriage rides, sleigh rides, wagon rides, and a cowboy church for weddings, plus corporate picnics and family reunions on its Western-themed grounds.

Built for How Ardmore Lives

The Ardmore Community Society runs the hall for weddings, dances, community sales, celebrations of life, family breakfasts, classes, and a community kitchen and gym, and the hamlet sits on the Iron Horse Trail network alongside Cherry Grove. Ardmore School teaches roughly 140 students from Preschool through Grade 9.

Your internet needs to keep up with all of it: streaming the derby livestream, running the Duck Race sign-up sheets online, video calls for farm business, and homework after the school bus drops off.
