At MCSnet, empowering local youth and investing in the future of rural Alberta is core to our mission. Since launching our high school scholarship program in 2022, we have been proud to support local Grade 12 graduates, from our MCSnet service area, as they take their next steps into higher education.

Each year, we award up to four, $1,000 scholarships to outstanding graduate students from our service area who are pursuing post-secondary studies in Computer Science or STEM-related fields. Applicants are evaluated based on academic achievement (60%) and local community involvement (40%).

Supporting Rural Youth & Future Leaders
Connecting our communities goes beyond high-speed internet—it means investing in the talented young people who will shape our tech ecosystem and lead our local communities into the future. These four students have demonstrated exceptional academic dedication and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in their towns.
Join us in congratulating Abdulqudoos, Katarina, Marisa, and Mathis! We wish them all the best in their post-secondary studies!
