Bonnyville’s Performing Arts Theatre, officially the Strathcona Performing Arts Centre, is a 340 seat theatre at 4808 49 Street built through a fundraising campaign led by the Clayton Bellamy Foundation for the Arts. Country musician Clayton Bellamy, a Bonnyville native, championed the project as a way to bring live theatre, touring concerts, and community productions to the Lakeland region, and the venue opened with a hometown concert from Bonnyville musician Mike Plume.
