The Tofield Campground is the Town of Tofield’s own campground, open on a first come, first served basis with self-registration on site, no reservations required. The campground offers serviced sites for RVs and tents, with washroom and shower facilities on site, a pond view, and easy walking distance to the town’s waterpark and skateboard park.
MCSnet sponsors the internet connection at the campground, so travellers passing through Tofield on Highway 14 can get online at their site without hunting for a cellular signal. A camper parked for the weekend can stream, work remotely, or just check messages from a picnic table by the pond. The same MCSNET FREE network is available at other MCSnet sponsored hotspots around Tofield, including the Tofield Community Hall and the Tofield Nature Centre & Museum.

Campers are often relying on out of town cell plans that struggle with roaming coverage in rural Alberta, and a free Wi-Fi connection at the site means checking the weather, mapping the next leg of a trip, or video calling home does not depend on a weak cellular signal.
MCSnet sponsors this hotspot as part of its community partnership program across rural Alberta. See every free Wi-Fi hotspot in Tofield, the full hotspot directory, or read about home internet in Tofield.
