The Royal Canadian Legion’s St. Paul branch, Branch 100, was organized largely through the work of A.J. Talbourdet, who served on the battlefields of France in the First World War and was elected the branch’s first president. The branch received its charter in 1930 and later moved from its original home on Main Street to its current building, where it continues to focus on remembrance, veterans, and community support. The branch marked the Royal Canadian Legion’s own hundredth anniversary alongside the rest of the organization, which the national body commemorated at the National War Memorial in Ottawa in July.
MCSnet sponsors the internet connection at the branch, so members, veterans, and guests at Legion events can get online without pulling from their own cell data. Whether it is a meeting, a dinner, or a rental for a community function, the branch’s Wi-Fi covers the hall.

A Legion hall serves an older membership and a wide range of community events, from meetings to dinners to hall rentals, and not every attendee has a generous cell plan. Free Wi-Fi at the branch means everyone in the room can stay connected the same way, whether they are a lifelong member or a first-time guest.
