About St. Paul Aquatic Center

The St. Paul Aquatic Centre is the town’s indoor pool, with a six-lane, 25-metre swimming pool, a fitness room, a hot tub, a kids’ pool, and a steam room. It runs swimming lessons, aquafit classes, parent and tot swim, and the Barracudas Winter Swim Club, and the party room is available to rent for birthdays and other events. The pool is open long hours on weekdays and shorter hours on weekends, giving families a lot of flexibility.

MCSnet sponsors the internet connection at the Aquatic Centre, so parents waiting on deck during a lesson, or anyone in the lobby before or after a swim, can get online without relying on cell coverage that can be spotty inside a pool building.

Where: 4702 53 Street, St. Paul, Alberta.

How to Connect

Use these steps to connect at St. Paul Aquatic Center. The network name and password are the same at every MCSnet sponsored hotspot.

  1. Open Wi-Fi settings on your phone, tablet, or laptop.
  2. Choose the network named MCSNET FREE.
  3. Enter the password freewifi (all lowercase, no spaces).
  4. You are online. There is no sign-in page and nothing to register.

No MCSnet home internet subscription is needed. Access to the building follows the venue’s opening hours and visitor policies.

Can’t see the network? Check that Wi-Fi is turned on and ask venue staff where the hotspot is available.

Why Free Wi-Fi Here Matters

Pool buildings are built with a lot of concrete, tile, and humidity, which is a poor combination for cell signal. A free Wi-Fi connection means parents supervising swim lessons or aquafit classes can stay online for work or family messages while they wait, rather than losing an hour to no signal.

MCSnet sponsors this hotspot as part of its community partnership program across rural Alberta. See every free Wi-Fi hotspot in St. Paul, the full hotspot directory, or read about home internet in St. Paul.
