Westcove Campground sits on Vincent Lake, about fifteen minutes north of the Town of St. Paul, and is one of four seasonal campgrounds the County operates. The site offers powered sites where tenting is also allowed, a beach, a spray park and playground, a boat launch, tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, hiking trails, and a day-use area with showers and washrooms.
MCSnet sponsors a free public Wi-Fi hotspot at the campground, so campers and day visitors, including the families who come for the beach and spray park alone, can stay connected without relying on cell signal. It is one of four MCSnet hotspots at County of St. Paul campgrounds, alongside Floating Stone, Lac Bellevue, and Stoney Lake, and all four use the same network name and password.
Use these steps to connect at Westcove Campground. The network name and password are the same at every MCSnet sponsored hotspot.
No MCSnet home internet subscription is needed. Access to the building follows the venue’s opening hours and visitor policies.
Can’t see the network? Check that Wi-Fi is turned on and ask venue staff where the hotspot is available.
Westcove pulls in day-trippers as well as campers, many of them families spending a full day at the beach and spray park with kids to keep track of. A free, encrypted Wi-Fi connection means parents can stay reachable and campers can check the weather without burning through their own data.
