The Amisk Agricultural Society runs the Community Hall as the main gathering space for the village of Amisk, a small farming community in the MD of Provost. The hall hosts the Society’s Fall community supper and Mother’s Day Breakfast, along with the entertainment groups the Society brings in to perform and the lunches it provides for funerals and other special occasions. It is the kind of building a village this size relies on for nearly everything that is not held outdoors or on the ice.
The Amisk Agricultural Society also sponsors the local 4-H Club, physical education programs at the elementary and high schools, and farm safety programs, much of which gets organized and hosted out of the hall.
