How to Set Up Your MCSnet MikroTik Router

MCSnet chose MikroTik routers because they are powerful products that provide customizable, enterprise-level features for a fraction of the cost. Not only do residential customers get a superior product, but small businesses will really benefit from having one of these routers.

Plug and Play

MCSnet programmers have set these new routers up to be plug and play. Once hooked up to your internet connection, they automatically connect to our network and connect to your Wi-Fi devices. This way, we can assist you with your home network, if needed, and provide some pretty cool features in combination with our MCSnet app. MCSnet offers a one-year, in-house warranty on the MikroTik routers.

How to Set Up Your MCSnet MikroTik Router

After receiving your MikroTik router from MCSnet, you will need to follow a few steps to set it up:

2. Plug the ethernet cable from your power adapter to Port 1 of your router

3. Plug your router into a power outlet (using the AC adapter) that is surge-protected

4. Wait 15 minutes for the router to begin connecting to the network

6. Wait 15 minutes for the router to begin connecting to the network

7. Log into the MCSnet app you’ve downloaded

8. Click on the Wi-Fi symbol in the menu
