Our Wireless Network

MCSNet uses a network of towers to provide wireless high speed Internet service to rural areas.

Service availability is limited by the distance and terrain between your location and the tower site. By filling out the sign-up form, our system will provide you with an estimate of the availability of service.

If service may be available at your location, you will receive a call back from a sales and scheduling representative to answer any questions you may have, and to arrange an appointment to attempt an installation if you wish.

If service is not available at your location, then the demand is tracked and we use this data to decide where we will construct our next tower site when expanding our service area.

Installation Process

Installation includes a "radio" receiver mounted on your roof and a cable that runs from the radio and into your house or building.

Description of installation process:

Step 1: The site physically is surveyed for wireless availability. If a sufficient signal is obtained, the radio is mounted in an elevated location.

Step 2: An outdoor CAT5e cable is run from the radio and into the point of entry of the premises. If the radio is mounted to be the highest point at the location, a surge supressor is added to the line and grounded.

Step 3: Connect the incoming cable to the power adapter inside the location, and connect the line to 1 computer or Internet device and test again for proper service levels.
